i just want to know if it will have a patch for WOE and WOV for impact ( if i hit a tree or buildind i will crash my plane, because i pass trought the building and tree and i'm still alive)

Probably not...the Gen 1 series is probably on it's last patch.

 

In addition, collision modeling for buildings and trees would require a rewrite of the terrain code, which costs time and costs money. From what I can tell, that isn't a priority at the moment for the Gen 2 series.

That's a real shame. When you're down in the weeds in Vietnam or in cities of any place, the challenge and thrill is avoiding not just the dirt, but also all the things poking up form it. (heck, in LOMAC you even have to worry about power/phone lines and fences IIRC - that really puts a new spin on things)

 

It's just as important for immersion as ground and aerial collisions - at least when you have dedicated attack craft. If it was aimed entirely at Air 2 Air stock, then it would be understandable.

 

(granted, time and money aren't exactly falling from the sky, but still.... it's imporant)
