sitting_duck Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 New motherboard, installed os and game,,and cant host,,,mouse turns into a hourglass for a sec,,then back to a arrow, and nothing happens. reinstalled everything,,and same thing.... spent countless hours with settings, cables, the works. one thing i did notice,,,was a "dpnserver" rule in my portforwarding that i never put there...so for whatever reason,,i got into my router, got to the portforwarding section, started the game, and alt tabbed back to the router page to see what was happening... This is kinda of unbelivable...no application should be able to access the router, and make a rule...but the first pic shows the rules that get made just by starting up the game...the second pic shows the changes to the rules that get made just by clicking on the multiplayer tab.... needless to say,,a new router is on its way...
