I'm referring to the following:

I at last found the solution for the offending issue, a re-install (Fourth time just the other day!) from scratch.

 

And, again I made a copy of just the essential files/folders in this new install, w/o the OBJECT folder that contains a/o (among others) the Aircraft, Weapon, and Ground Objects -- some 300MB only for safe keeping.
