Guys, please bear with me -- should u find my question as silly one.

Last time, a senior guy here quickly gave me a solution -- smart one indeed when I migrated to WIN XP Patch 2 (Never, never will use Patch 3 that IS very intrusive that will send -- without our prior consent -- the entire contents of our HDD, kindly SEARCH www.scroogle,org to know more of it), and found that my WeoponEditor worked not anymore.

Apparently, if should have save it in the WIN System (32). Yet, when I next did it, I need two steps ti WeapEditor my WeaponData when I made a change to it. I got the more simple step: just made a SHORTCUT of it (in the C) and CUT it, next PASTED it in my WEAPONDATA.ini inside of the WEAPON folder. Presto! It works.

My question now, it deals with my HUGE Aircraft Folder under OBJECT in the Structure of the WOE in Directory E that I share with my college-going two kids and one who is a Graphic Designer.

The E now is a mere 3.something GB left. while C is almost 8Gigs. That AFTER I deleted some aircrafts of mine from its folder under the OBJECT. Yeah, gaining more space now (almost 4GB now the E)

Can I -- must do a test-run first -- save my AIRCRAFT Sub-Folder in C, next make a SHORTCUT of it, CUT and then paste in in OBJECT???

Have anyone with similar issue did this???

My thanks for ur replies, and excuse my typos. :bye::bye:

I don't know about the old series. But Series 2 Thirdwire sims can point to a different "mod" folder. There's some setting in options.ini. I doubt that there's something similar for Series 1.
