c-130 engine sounds way off

im new, so dont flame me if this has been brought up, and if it has, could you link me?

 

 

anyway, im a c-130 crew chief and the engine sounds on the c-130 are way off. it sounds like a cessna. should have more of a high bypass jet engine sound, with the props cutting the air, with it.

d'oh! i dont have anyway of recording them, and i dont know what they would think of that, me out there with a tape recorder standing next the a taxiing plane lol

while we are on the subject, is the ac-130 or the ac-47 being moddeled?

Romor has it an ac47 "puff" was in the works but far down the line,but being military you know how romors go

And If I remeber CFS@ had some good AC-130 sounds Ill check later.

You are at DM huh? Compass Calls from the 42nd ECS? I used to be Hurlburt Field working Talons, Pavelows and Pavehawks. At Ramstein now.

 

Anyhoe, there are some great Herk prop sounds in Skunk Work's download section. Pinch's sounds are pretty good and the Herk sound is top notch:

ya compass calls were 42. 42 is shut down. now its just 41 and 43. we are getting some HC's in the next few years w/ some '60's.

 

 

man i wish i was at ramstein. crap load of guys from here are going there. got a few there now i know
