Question to OvS and Paarma

Just browsed through your many skins with Irfanview, and found, that the Albatros D Va

of Franz Ray (among some others) still used Dark Green/Mauve camo, whilst other craft

had all the Lozenge camo.

Do you know the reason, why that was?

I cant remember now what was the case with this ace, but we made different scheme´s for aces and jasta skins. The lineup of a/c´s was often different versions. Some had older green/mauve wings and some lozenge even for same model. Also other point is we have only 2 slot for use, so example often there was same time aces flying dv´s and dva´s so the markings like wing scheme´s could simulate the variation when example the aces flying dva´s and player dv´s.

So the Green/Mauve scheme was still found in times, when the D Va was in service?

Yes. I think so. There were mauve/green and lozenge wing versions of dva´s
