Guest Raden Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) Dear Geph and others, I refer to this http://forum.combata...134#comment1134 as I could not attach the following screenies. Geph, these r the pics: Basically, I just did a naughty, little Mod on some lines (add/delete or commented or deactivated some of them) in the respective plane_data.ini I shall upload only the ini changes later. ey btw, I even did an "over-hall" upon the MiG-14 engine. I REPLACED it with that of his brother, the MiG-17F engine...and the little beast even carries Flares and an onboard ECM! Ahh! Gotta first delete some of my previous uploads of skrinshots. The above is not finished yet. I will be back. Edited April 2, 2010 by Raden
Guest Raden Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) To follow up the above uploads of MY Enhanced MiG-17F (Red ChinaBlue, SovietNoir of Black, and Soviet Blue). Worth observing r the pics re the an HardPoint of the little beast MiG-15, of which I do not know the alignment of. Can/t find in my MiG-15 file. I shall later upload (WHAT IF scenario) only the ini (naughty) mod I did of both planes data.ini, and their Weaponload.ini (Ah, forgot the name) thank u for ur time and attention. +Gepard Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Nice pictures of your overloaded MiG-17. In reality i wount fire the missiles under the belly. They would cause a flame out of the engine. And by the way, i have never seen a MiG-17 armed with R-3S (AA-2 Atoll) missiles. I think it has to do that the R-3S had a minimum launch speed of 750 kph and the best combat speed of the Fresco was far below that speed.

So many times have I did the changes that even now I forgot which was the original one in my _Bak.file or _Copy of_ it file. This occurred as well with my R-77 that when I manually loaded it in the page where we manually loaded weapons to use, it never showed up UNLESS I selected the AA-12 of exactly the same long range missile. BTW, the what u believe as R-3S were used just twice or three times on Intercept and/or Escort Single MSN. I previously used the smaller. shorter, lighter (in term of its mass) R-60T or R-62M IRM -- or my "enhanced" very deadly Israeli Python4. But u r the enemy of Israel in this WOE aren't u, some may raise such question. My answer is, it is only a GAME. That's it. The sky's the limit. I was being, errr, creative? Even my splendid, really deadly USAF F-4E Arctic Camo carries till now the very deadly Russian R-77/AA-12, and the long-range and extremely deadly SD-10 of China that no enemy jets could avoid to be roasted sky-hi. Some of My MiG-21 family were vaporized by it in Anti_Ship MSN when those bulky, yet could unexpectedly fly so fast that none of my MiG-21s could get closer but opted foran RTB, when the Phantom did the Intercept afterward just fled seeing one surviving daredevil pilot of my MiG-21Soviet! I once attempted flying the little, overloaded MiG-15:grin: and/or 17s in the HARD Setting (TK says this setting equates the real flight as the air resistance/wind really did the planes' flight only significantly during turning). The drag was not so extreme, yet, it did affect my speed of climbing. A couple of my MiG-21s did experienced, even my IAF NETZ had sustained an unrecoverable spin but to eject and -- taken as POW . So, I rolled-back to NORMAL Mode. A piece of cake indeed. Finally, as said, this 'naughty mod' was to add spice in my own WOE gaming sessions.............. such will be regarded a cheat in the On-Line Dog-Fighting. No way! I shall not do it. OK Geph, see u later........ :bye: Edited April 5, 2010 by Raden
