Belgian Aviation History Assiciation

A good site with many photographies and lots of info.

Not sure if this was posted before - so better twice than never I say.

Lt. Joseph Vuylsteke in his specially decorated Hanriot Dupont HD1 n° 68 of N° 11 squadron at

de Moeren airfield in 1918. At that time N° 11 Squadron was basically equipped with Sopwith Camels

but could also line-up some Hanriots. (Van der Merckt Collection KLM/MRA)

Farman-Nélis GN3 equipped as a night fighter with twin Lewis machine guns in the gunner's position and a search light in the nose.

The all important German base of Gistel with at least 38 LVG C.II bomber of Kagohl I visible, ready for an attack on Dunkirk on 21 May 1916.
