GhostDog Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Everything worked fine until yesterday evening. Now i keep getting this error that you see in the attached picture. I have tried making a new log book via "options" menu but then it just says exactly the same about the new file Quote
navychief Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Ghostdog, I have the exactly the same problem that you do. I will do some searching for a solution. I'll let you know how successful I am. NC Quote
Top_Gun Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 I've never seen this error message, sorry I can't help Quote
GhostDog Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 Let me know if you find out anything Chief... I like logbooks Quote
navychief Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Ghostdog Bad news. Although I did find reference to this problem in a couple forums, I was not able to find a answer to it. Grrrrr........... NC Quote
GhostDog Posted July 12, 2004 Author Posted July 12, 2004 too bad... but thanks for trying. Maybe a reinstall will solve it. At least for a while Quote
navychief Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Ghostdog, I think I found the solution. Start your Flight Sim, go to Settings, then General..... Deslect Log Flight Time. That fixed it for me. Hope this does the same for you. Navy Chief Quote
GhostDog Posted July 12, 2004 Author Posted July 12, 2004 I will try... but does't it stop loggin the time then? Quote
navychief Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Yes, it will stop the logging, but the error msg will go away. NC Quote
GhostDog Posted July 12, 2004 Author Posted July 12, 2004 hmm... i would have hoped to find a sulotion that allowed me to log the flighttime Quote
Modestmouse Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 I have the same problem. Started to show up after I created various logbooks to try and organize my flight times for different aircraft. Never figured out why it happened or how to fix it though which is a bummer. The message would go away if I selected a specific log book during flight, but nothing would get logged even though the prompt would come up after I exited the session. Now I just log all time manually right after I touch down. If anyone figures out how to fix it I'd like to know also. Quote
