I'm playing the 5th tutorial mission landing a Piper Cub.

When ever I touch down, the plane always turns turtle.

I followed the speed stated by the voice prompt...

Any tips?

Okay when landing the piper I have found it best to keep back pressure on the stick when the wheels touch...

Also I do land it gently and aim for a 3 point landing also killing the throttle just before landing helps...

Best advice though is practice practice practice...

Do I press breaks? I think it complicates the situation more.

The Cessna was a breeze to land but this one is just unstable.

Got to land it. Though in an unelegant fashion. I used the stick to counter the tendency to flip and never pressed the breaks. Still eneded up turning to the left and off the runway.

Thanks for the tips. One thing's for sure, I'm never gonna fly this plane for leasure.

Once you get used to flying it its a good little plane to fly around... just remember on landing to use your rudder as well and make sure the power is off on the engine... glad you managed to land it... I use it for flying around on any new scenery that I have...

True that bird is an interesting one to fly... but I must admit I never really got on with it. I prefer the Cub... and then for Tail Dragging they gave FSX the Grumman Goose... which I love just to stooge around in and not have a care about...
