370 Squadriglia (24 Gruppo Autonomo), Oibia Venafiorita (Sardina) and Metato (Italy), August 1943

 

This represents one of a handful of squadrons that flew the 47 D.520s pressed into service with the RA. All were used in 1943 for home defence against Allied bombers.
