exhausted Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 (edited) Hello fellow simmers, I took Burning Sands and I wiped it out so I could tailor it to my liking, but like most things I do on this, it only works about half way. My problem is that my USMC units crash the game when I select them in the campaign screen, and I don't know why. Also, My Navy carrier units generate on the bottom left corner of the map (0,0) instead of on their pre-placed carriers. I've modified the desert_targets.ini and I dropped it into my terrains folder, but I can't find the problem. I hope that some of you can download my campaign and tell me what the hell is going wrong with a) the Marine units crashing my game, b) the Navy planes spawning in the mountains in the lower left corner of the map, and c) why my Dhimari units aren't selectable even though I added Dhimar to my Nations.ini. Also, these are the entries at the bottom of my desert_targets.ini. [TargetArea074] Name=Zulu Station Position=442382.813617,705078.126780,0.000000 Radius=5657 ActiveYear=0 Location=1 Alignment=FRIENDLY CarrierStation=TRUE [TargetArea075] Name=Alpha Station Position=663085.939174,656250.001657,0.000000 Radius=5657 ActiveYear=0 Location=1 Alignment=FRIENDLY CarrierStation=TRUE PS, the only non stock units are the Soviet_Squad units. All the aircraft are stock, and you need Exp2 to play as the units I added. Edited December 12, 2010 by exhausted Quote
+Wrench Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 the Navy planes spawning in the mountains in the lower left corner of the map if you play any type of single mission, I'll bet you'll find 'friendly' aircraft icons there all the time. Those are your reinforcements ('call for help'), or flights tasked with something special since Exp1. If you click on them (at leat before Exp2), the info would say something like "mission = scripted" wrench kevin stein Quote
exhausted Posted December 12, 2010 Author Posted December 12, 2010 (edited) Nope, nothing there in single player. I saved some missions and it appears that it's not even putting the aircraft carriers on the ground. Also, the carrier based entry gets marked as false.
