Full Somme Repaint for FS-WWI by Gypsy9 Released!

This wonderful repaint of the old and tired Somme is brought to you by Gypsy9! It will add a whole new level to FS-WWI. :D While weighing in at an astonishing 80mb, every bit of it is WELL worth it! Some of the building and the main tree textures should now appear more crisp as well as a bug was fixed regarding the texture size reported in Open Plane Studio.

 

Those that cannot handle such a download can request it on CD (Along with the rest of the FS-WWI Online Standard) at the usual place. (On my FS-WWI Site or the Content Section here) Of course you can continue to use the old Somme terrain. ;)

 

While this terrain is still not complete, it is a HUGE improvement over the original. Those who wish to finish off the last small bits please e-mail me. List of things still to do:

-Align the airfield and town textures properly with the rest of the terrain

-Add ground shadows where the buildings lie.
