External Craft view discovery

While in external aft view of my aircraft, I decided to zoom in and discovered that I was now looking down the internal length of the aircraft.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I've seen this in other sims, it's actually a useful feature if you're checking out a 3D model you're importing to the game.
