Hi all,

I don't know where the underlying structure to this game came from and don't know what it means (Ex. Phase 2 versus Phase 3 versus Phase 4) :yikes:

Can someone please point me to the right place to understand what the heck these phases mean?

Thanks again!

Just different versions of OFF development. Phase 1 & 2 were first and they were free. Phase 3 then made huuuuuuuge advancements and it's what we're at now, with Hat in the Ring v. 1.47 being current.

Phase 4 is the sequel to Phase 3 with a TBA release date. Sometime in 2012 we're thinking. Work in Progress screenshots: http://www.overfland...view/index.html

Welcome to the Western Front btw. Watch your instruments when you cross the Lines, many's the chap who takes one in the fuel tank and doesn't notice until his engine stops.

Welcome to the OFF Forum, stefnuts!

It's as Javito explained, and the real name for "Phase 3" is "Over Flanders Fields - Between Heaven and Hell".

The first version that costs money.

And the very best chance to multiply the value of it!

Watch your instruments when you cross the Lines, many's the chap who takes one in the fuel tank and doesn't notice until his engine stops.

It wouldn't really help much. When a tank was pierced, it lost it's pressure, which lead to an engine stop.

You couldn't say: oh, I still have some gallons to make it back. It was finished, no matter how much petrol was left.
