holding pickle button

I'm going through the training missions in F4:AF and I'm having a problem with the CCRP mission. I can get the bomb to come off when I use the space bar but not when I use the pickle button on my Thrustmaster Cougar. I don't know much about the Cougar but I looked at a button analyzer and found that the pickle button will only click, not hold down continuously. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.

I don't recall having that problem in F4. I know you can program buttons to hold a keypress with /H in Foxy.

So you'd want something like

S2 /P /H pickle

/R

If it doesn't work then maybe try another button that will let you perform a hold down function.
