+Stary Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Soo... I finally updated my June11 SF2 to Aug11 level -to test the new patch I started Rolling Thunder flying A-4C Black Diamonds campaign. The new carriers are there, which is cool, BUT now I experience huge performance drop and stuttering flying "quite clean" install -4 merged, most of DLCs, only Green Hell3 and Sarcasm, effects added, some flightengine and other inis tweaks I use daily Anyone ran into similar oddity? None here, atleast not using ultra-modded SF2E... Quote
+Stary Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 hmm.. running security scans as we speak, also will defragment. Quite odd that is, I will check more as this oddly seems only to be affecting the Vietnam campaign(s) Maybe the Hanoi SAMs choke is back for me? Quote
Bossco82 Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I had this too in Vietnam Stary, I can't say exactly what I changed but I removed my custon.ini's from the flight folder and re-edited them with fresh ones from the CAT, seems to be ok now. Also if Hanoi sams are hitting your fps, I have a target file where i've given the sams there own target area. Did it ages ago so I could reduce the AAA and SAMS up north until my fps drop went. Wouldn't be hard to edit the targets to your liking. Quote
+Stary Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 I do like all the SAMa and AAA, must be something in the campaign that's doing this to me, as single missions work without problem -but those have far less things going on in them Quote
