+WhiteBoySamurai Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 View File Riga class frigate This model represents the Riga class frigate, in service with the Soviet Union from 1951 to 1991 They were exported to China and several other countries. At least 68 of this class were built, plus at least 14 more license-built copies (the Jinan class or Chengdu class) in China. All necessary sounds, guns, and weapons are included in this package. Hull number decals are not featured, as these ships are meant to be used as OPFOR units. This is my first ship to feature a destroyed model. I hope you will thoroughly enjoy blowing up this vessel. :3 Note: This model has been updated for full compatibility with SF2:NA. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or constructive criticisms regarding this model, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you! +WhiteBoySamurai Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 Just uploaded new version for NA/March 2012. I'm sure it will find a good home in Soviet task forces. Quote
+PureBlue Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 (edited) Thanks WBS Notes: Userlist callout should be in the main INI. I also can't get it to show up in random single missions. I've edited out all the other stock russian escorts, but always a single Kiev class is created as enemy taskforce. I've been trying all kinds of modifications but still can't find what's up. (tried disabling export, rearranging LOD callouts per stock examples, renaming superstructure lod etc..) Interestingly if I replace the whole riga_data contents with Kashin_data, it magically is added to enemy taskforces.. Riga works perfectly if I custom add it to a mission though... stil experimenting.. Edited March 27, 2012 by PureBlue Quote

I'm not certain, but try changing FormationSizeVariation=2 to FormationSizeVariation=0 in the data.ini file. Also, check the names list to make sure there are still Rigas in Soviet service during the year you're launching the mission. Quote

Also, check the names list to make sure there are still Rigas in Soviet service during the year you're launching the mission. Alright found the culprit. MaxOffRoadSpeed variable should be either larger than the Carrier/Transport it will be escorting OR at least 15.44. Can't really figure out the significance of that number. EDIT6!!: Fixed my previous thesis... Edited March 29, 2012 by PureBlue Quote
+KnightWolf45 Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 at least 15.44. IIRC metres per second Quote
+PureBlue Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 IIRC metres per second Thanks Cocas, that should be it! Comes out to around 30knots. Quote
+WhiteBoySamurai Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 I've given the Riga a minor visual update. Enjoy! Quote
