DLC unmoddable?

So just bought the F-4K addon and apparently 2 .dlc file is extracted to the \DLC folder. Tried the .cat extractor on it and no joy. I guess there's no way end users can edit its content?

Cat extractor works fine on my install. Did you made sure you selected .dlc file type when you browse for your files??
