Dear Community,

 

 

 

I'm not sure what I have to write now. I have finished my newest Sound-Mod, it costs me three Months to finish it at all. To find the right Volumes for all the Samples, should they be Stereo or Mono? Every Day I've been changing the Volume for the Samples I've created, so that everything would fit for OFF. I know it is a little bit too late for this, while we are all waiting for WOFF, but I thought this could be something the People would like...

Perhaps it would shorten the time to wait...

 

So now that is the Reason because I am writing to you: I've send my whole Sound Package to OLPAINT. This Package contains new Sound-Samples of a Size at all about 100 Megabytes. That was 4 Weeks ago.

 

 

 

So what did I change?

 

 

1. New engine Sounds for the SE5a Wolseley Viper. Complete new Sounds.

 

2. New Sounds for German Inline-Scouts.

 

3. New Sounds for Nieuport-Scouts.

 

4. New Sounds for Sopwith-Scouts.

 

5. New Sounds for SPAD's Scouts.

 

6. New Sounds German Rotary- Scouts.

 

7. New Sounds for Ground Artillery

 

8. New Sounds for Ground Machineguns

 

9. New "Screams" when a Pilot is wounded

 

10. New Sounds for FLAK explosions.

 

 

I told him he should test my Sound Mod. But I never get an answer.

 

Who know about him? We were Friends via E-mail, and I'm missing this.

 

He is the only one who can change my Sounds into JSGSME

I haven't heard from OlPaint either (or HPW either for that matter), but have been buried by real life myself. Those of you waiting for replies should hear from me today, hopefully, as I'm still working on bug fixes for OFFbase.

 

Last time I talked to OlPaint he was really excited about the sound mod. I can build a JSGME package for the sounds, or you could give it a try yourself using the JSGME installer kit I put together.

I've got not much time for myself, I know this problem. Much Work to do. Tomorrow for example I will be gone away for 5 Days, only just because I've got much work to do in Berlin. And this is 550 Kilometers away from my Hometown. I'm making Construction. My Wife do not like this, too

I've send my Package to PANAMA RED, he said he would like to help me converting my Samples into JSGME, and hopefully in the next few days or so we can release this Mod :sohappy:

Good to hear Panama Red's on the case, Andy. If he uses my JSGME installer kit everything should work perfectly. I'll try to build in proper support for the next release of my OFFramp mod manager, so let me know if there are any dependencies or conflicts with your previous sound mods.

 

And good luck in Berlin. I'm sure if you make it home in one peace all will be forgiven with your wife, but it never hurts to bring back a gift or something!
