Daryl J hudon III: not supporting game port

Hello everyone,

 

Due to some reason when I try to install any of my joysticks using the game port , the error comes that my game port drivers are not configured correctly. When I try to update drivers, again the arror arrive that it can't install them.

 

Please share your views on this error.

Okay might be a good idea to post PC Specs OS and what Joystick you are using... as well as what Sim your trying it with.

Be aware that MS officially dropped support of the gameport as of Windows Vista. Naturally 7 and 8 don't either. While you CAN get one working it's VERY difficult and largely depends on the hardware ie is it on the motherboard, a sound card, or a separate card?

It's pretty much a USB world now for joysticks.
