+daddyairplanes 10,248 Posted August 16, 2012 I'm now taking a course on it but the school bookstore doesn't sell it and the cheapest student version i can find is $224 (minus the 30 trial of course). Now we will have access for schoolwork in the comp lab and i can get it with excess Pell grant monies in October. but that doesn't help me to work at home now. the two questions... 1. does anyon know of a LEGAL but cheaper copy out there? i'm basically looking for myself and 3 other students so a "loaner" copy is not quite what i'm looking for though the thought of any such offer would have been appreciated. 2. my teacher thinks projects may be able to be started in Gimp then transfered.
