Spitfire flight model, thoughts?

Has anyone noticed that it doesn't bleed speed during hard turns even when using full elevators?  Other TW planes like the S-199 and P-51D don't feel this way.

 

I'm wondering if there is a simple variable to change, or maybe just one surface structure copied from another plane.  I've done some swapping, but can't quite get it.

Not tried them yet but remember that the Spitfire was more a turn fighter over the S-199 and P-51... but it should bleed some speed just a thought...

Slartibartfast is right - in other sims such as CFS2 or 3, all types of Spitfire turn far more gracefully than their rivals, losing less speed while still being able to turn more tightly. In any case, the S-99/Bf109g-14AS was known for wallowing a bit and the S-199 was a pig to fly. Even the Mustang was a mediocre dogfighter compared to the Spitfire - although it won on other considerations such as range and load. 

 

That said, I'm not going to stick my neck out and say these FMs are actually accurate...

True enough.  I always thought of the Spit' as the most agile of the three based on other sims (IL-2, Jane's WW2 etc.) but I will continue to change variables and see if we can make it feel a little more TW^tm.
