New skin for a QF-4B Phantom II!

I'm working around a new skin for a QF-4B Phantom I I!!!!

I wanted to ask some tips:


1) FS 12197 color can work?? 

2) The FS code color, for QF-4B Phantom II black walkways?? 

3) The FS code color, for QF-4B Phantom II black nose?? 

4) Templates for the tanks??? (F-4_DTANK_CENTER & F-4_DTANK370)

if you're doing a historical, google a bunch of images. i'm about to do that for Naval reserve F-4Ns. do one search specific and one broad (QF-4B "such and such unit"  and QF-4B or "such and such unit) you'll be suprised.

 

to match colors i use the color picker then shift RGB values around abit til i like the match.

 

as for tank templates i dont remember there being any. i just blanked the color and left the lines (more of a pain than it sounds) but never was smart enough to keep the psd's for that. that or just color swap  the areas that need it.
