Cockpit Repaints

I've been recently dabbling in some minor skinning for my own personal purposes and while they are not the best, its fun and I've gained a greater appreciation from those of the community that turn out these high quality skins.

 

I've downloaded the newly updated F-106 and I'm having lots of fun with it. While the skins and such have been updated to an extreme level of awesomeness, I don't believe that the cockpit was ever touched since it debuted in the SFP1 days.
 

I've opened the cockpit files and see all the parts for it. My question, if I were to attempt a repaint of the cockpit, do I need anything else than photoshop to complete this?
