+Olham Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Found this 1913 slideshow about the airfield Johannisthal (later: Berlin Adlershof),the first real airfield southeast of Berlin. It looks like a model for the film"The Magnificent Men & their Flying Machines".Each "slide" has a description in German, English and French - those were the days, when the aviators from all over the world exchanged their experiences here - onlyone year before the beginning of "The Great War".Must have been a fascinating time... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Msh1yFSzc_o
