Skyviper 1,101 Posted November 3, 2013 I was going through on Youtube last night looking for anything of interest anything funny, or just something interesting. Came across this three part series about the men and women that are apart of the Grenadier Guard the soldiers that protect the Queen of England. It was a eye opener to me as I had no idea they were actually a combat unit (or have a combat unit and then ceremonial unit) The guards aren't supposed to move at all that but that end of this video 44:50 time frame a new Grenadier Guard straight out of boot camp and who has had a turbulent life and turned it all around stands guard and he holds the hand of his little sister while his mother takes a picture of him and his little sister. A sincere moment amid a group of tourists. I appreciate this documentary because like I said I never knew what all went on. I thought I would share this video here and you if you wish to continue there are two more parts to this series. So if you are curious like me and have the time take a look.
+pcpilot 181 Posted November 5, 2013 I watched this earlier on. VERY good documentary. Saw near the end the boot holding his sisters' hand, very cool. Nice to know they are human too. A proud unit with a proud history.
