Jex =TE= Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I'm assuming it's early days but you will be making the water spout 3d and with the ripples right? :) Quote
scary_pigeon Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 it is likely. i kind of think the particle effect to water splashes kind of works though. Quote

It needs the concentric circles as well, to give it substance and weight. :) Quote

scary_pigeon Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 (edited) it was because i was too lazy to add them: other stuff to do and all that. main reason to do it in my opinion is so that splashes from vertically above can be seen. Edited April 27, 2005 by scary_pigeon Quote
Yyrd Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 particasl are 2-d bitmaps. they go out in 3d creating a 3d like image. each with the own life and direction/speed. so if your asking if the spalshes are 3d, if theer particals this is a given. pactical effects are a no brainer for any level graphics coder.
