BAC TSR.2 - XR220 (Second Prototype), First Flight, April 6th, 1965

 

The first flight of the second prototype of the TSR.2 was planned for April 6th, 1965 but, sadly, this was also the date that the axe fell on this superb British aircraft meaning that XR220 did not take to the skies.
