DCS World 1.5.3 Now Available

This update includes many fixes for DCS World and modules, as well as a long list of fixes and new items for DCS: M-2000C. L-39ZA and Training Missions Now Available

Today we move DCS: L-39 Albatros out of open beta status with the addition of the L-39ZA and the interactive training missions. If you already own DCS: L-39 Albatros, updating DCS World to version 1.5.3 will also update your DCS: L-39 Albatros installation to include the L-39ZA and the interactive training missions.

The Albatros is a two seat jet aircraft intended for basic and advanced pilot training in visual and instrument flight rules weather conditions, day and night and also for combat use against air and ground targets.
Its development started in the mid-1960s by the Czech "Aero Vodochody". In the 1970s the aircraft entered service and is still in operational use by over 30 countries worldwide.

The DCS: L-39 is the most accurate computer simulation of this aircraft among all flight simulators available for PC.

Based upon my own set-up, and from what I'm reading about others, this patch isn't great. Start-up times have increased, if it actually runs and it renders the VEAO Hawk unusable. I've noted that the LN MiG-21 now requires activation every time you start either sim (1.5.3 & 2.0)

 

So, they've all got more work to do and hope a quick fix is released soon.
