If the SAS were using 'Desert Pink' in WW2 and the RAF used it in 1991 then perhaps an emergency deployment to Dhimar in 1961 would have seen such a scheme. In reality, RAF Hunters were urgently deployed to the Middle East in 1961 but in response to the Kuwait crisis.
