Need your help testing this..I THINK I found the cause of the upgrade bug..again..I THINK..

Use the .cat extractor and extract the campaign_data.ini from the mission_data.cat DON'T MESS WITH THE MIGS..they are upgrading..BUT on the US and allied squadrons..change the aircraft names under the upgrade types and times to MATCH the folder names in the objects/aircraft folder. So..if it says F4E in the campaign_data.ini change it to F4e and then start a new campaign..If it upgrades..I will post a fixed ini for download for those that wish to wait to see if it does fix it or not..this is the ONLY thing that I can find that could possibly cause the problem..a matter of case in the ini file..I'm goin to bed now..if it does work..light this thread up so my caffiene-less brain will see it when I wake up..

There is an extraction utility available for download. Use this to extract files out of catalogs (.cat files). It's called SFP1E extraction utility.

There is a .cat file called mission data.cat, use the extractor to extract the campaign1_data.ini from the mission data.cat, once this is done, edit the entries so the letter after the plane name reads like it does in the objects/aircraft folder.

There is no way to repack the file so save and leave it where it is
