SF2 WW2 MTO B-25C/D Mitchell Bomber Pak

SF2 WW2 MTO B-25C/D Mitchell Bomber Pak 8/2/2017

-- Something for the WW2 MTO players --

= For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Please note, this aircraft was supposed to be released several years ago (in August, 2014!!), and somehow managed to slip out of sight. I hope this corrects that mistake.*

**Note: This mod will -NOT- work in 1stGen game installs at any patch level. Also, for those End Users attempting to use this aircraft in an SF2 converted version of the DAT's WoA Pak, be advised of probable conflicts.**

This is a "Theatre Specific" release of Veltro2K's =NEW= B-25C/D Mitchell Medium Bomber. This represents the "glass nosed" bomber version as used in the MTO. This is the FULL aircraft, with just about all the necessary parts supplied.

There are 4 skin/decals set(s) in the package:

"Early" - with star/circle
"Late" - star-and-bar, post September, 1943.
For the following units:

81st BS, 12th BG

83rd BS, 12th BG

This mods uses the Brain32 trick, with the skinmap in the main aircraft folder. The aircraft is finished in Sand (desert pink) over neutral gray. This represents the 12th BG from it's arrival in theatre to late 1943.
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. The aircraft carries the "plain star-in-blue-circle" used until Sept 1943. The SF2 "date switch" will turn on in September, 1943 for the 'star and bar' insignia.

Engine sounds, pilot figures, and skin-specific Hangar Screens are included. Weapons, guns, bombs, etc, are NOT; you should have them already. Operational service dates are rounded to 'whole months', and ARE relatively correct for ALL in-theatre usage (7/42-12/43 although it is likely several served longer, even when the H & J models reached MTO squadron service).

When in game, you'll see

B-25C/D Mitchell (v2k)

on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other B-25s you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!!

Happy Landings!!
