Gloster Meteor F.4


The Gloster Meteor F.4 was Derwent 5 powered with strengthened fuselage, 489 planes were built by Gloster and 46 by Armstrong Whitworth
for the Royal Air Force. The F.4 was also exported to Argentina (50 aircraft), Belgium (48 aircraft), Denmark (20 aircraft), Egypt (12 aircraft), Netherlands (38 aircraft).

WHAT's IN:

- a new plane
- 18 RAF Skins
- 16 FAA Skins
- 11 KLU Skins
- 7  BAF Skins
- 2  EAF Skins
- 1  RADAF Skins
- sounds, pilot, weapons etc.

OPERATIONS:

- canopy openable Key=10

CREDITS:

- Yakarov model
- Paulopanz skins, decals, hangars, edits

INSTALL:

- put Objects & sounds folders from all 5 Archives in your mod folder and overwrite

The Gloster Meteor is one of my all-time favourite aircraft, mainly because as an aviation mad teenager the only two books in our library were about the Meteor! It's also an important aircraft in aviation history as it was the first British operational jet fighter and the only Allied jet aircraft to reach operational status during World War II.

So a big thank you to Yakarov and Paulopanz for bringing us this wonderful early version.

An all time favourite aircraft for me too.  Especially the big nosed, heavy, quite ugly radar versions!

Yakarov is making the whole Meteor family like using Lego@ bricks  in changing and mixing  tails, wings and noses .... I only helped (and helping :biggrin:) him to dress his great, fantastic work.

Very happy  about this.
