Guest pfunkmusik Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 I have been told by the spousal unit that if I want to continue to purchase newer and better PC gaming titles, I?d best rid myself of some deadwood. So, I?m offering nine flight-oriented games for $15 (USD). I prefer Paypal, but I will accept money orders or cashiers? cheques. These games range in difficulty from the very arcadish to the very hardcore. You?ll get: 1.) Jane?s ATF: Jewel case only, it was one of the flight sim titles based on the old USNF graphics engine. Mid-to-lightweight in realism. 2.) Jane?s Longbow Ltd. Ed: Truly a limited edition, jewel case only. It only comes with the single missions based in Iraq and Panama, no campaign options, but still not a bad sim. Does come with some really great tutorial missions. Hardcore in realism. 3.) Joint Strike Fighter: Innerloop?s venture into combat flight simming, jewel case only. Models the Lockheed-Martin JSF entry and the Boeing JSF that is reminiscent of Corsair II. Mid-to-lightweight in realism. 4.) DI?s F-16 Fighting Falcon: A Glide-engined flight sim, DVD case. Not bad at all. Very versatile and comes with campaigns in Cyprus, Israel, Afghanistan, and Korea. Mid-to-lightweight in realism 5.) Dogfight: Battle of the Pacific: Arcade, Quake 3-in-the-air flight game, but I used it to relax from the harder stuff. Jewel case only. The sound is surprisingly good for an arcade game. 6.) Jetfighter III: Classic: Think Fighters Anthology, but with carriers and more depth in the graphics, jewel case only. Actually not bad once you get past the cheesy plot. Lightweight in realism. 7.) Top Gun: Fire at Will: Lightweight in realism, but offers a rare flight game based solely on the F-14. Comes with the original manual and quick reference booklet. Cheeseball-soaked cutscenes starring James Tolkan, but still fun. 8.) Flanker 2.0: Hardcore flight sim, not for the faint of heart. Comes with the original retail box, the full printed manual, and the quick reference cards. This is a rare find to get the sim with the original manual. 9.) Wing Commander II: Deluxe Edition: Maybe one of you guys will like it, but I never did. The CD is practically new. It was a gift and has been loaded?once. Okay, that?s all of them. Please send any offers (I?ll consider them) to my email address, 97txn@txun.net Thank you. Chuck Here's a picture of what you get. Quote
