annoying beep

I expect it's something I've knackered but every time I hit a button on my controller now there's a audio beep.  I trust there's a way to lose it and that one of you will know.  Thx......

First, check your controller's command center to see if there's an option. Also in windows audio settings Ease of Access/keyboard, the cause might be the Filter Keys feature, so be sure to disable it. FIX: Keyboard beeping when typing? Try our quick solutions! (windowsreport.com)
