Icarus999 Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 My older computer is dead, looking to put a new system together for simming, first person shooter games, video/audio/ photo editing and 3d modeling. PC component prices are pretty steep right now, so price is an important consideration. looking for advise from those in the know regarding the performance of some of the latest CPU's GPU's and NVME SSD Drives in relation to frame rates and overall performance with highly modded SF2 installs with settings on high to unlimited. GPU prices are absolutely nuts right now ... looking for a quality card with the most VRAM for the lowest cost What is your opinion as the best bang for my buck on a reasonably priced GPU? What is your opinion of the new AMD Ryzen 9 5950X for Strike Fighters2? How much improvement will a fast NVME ssd bring to the table? my monitor is 37" running 1080p My buddy has donated an ASROCK 570M pro 4 for the build I am looking at these components: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-core, 32-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor -4.9 GHz Max Boost -72 MB of cache -https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-5950X-32-Thread-Processor/dp/B0815Y8J9N/ref=sr_1_3?crid=17UL1TM1MVMQS&keywords=ryzen+9+5900x&qid=1646030356&sprefix=ryz%2Caps%2C126&sr=8-3#:~:text=unlocked for overclocking%2C-,72 MB of cache,-%2C DDR-3200 support Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 AMD Optimized Memory https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-2x16GB-PC4-28800-Optimized-dp-B08SQC325S/dp/B08SQC325S/ref=dp_ob_title_ce SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB - M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-Plus-MZ-V7S2T0B/dp/B07MFZXR1B/ref=sr_1_3?crid=33Y8AYFJ1U2OV&keywords=970+evo+plus+2tb&qid=1646031158&sprefix=970%2Caps%2C193&sr=8-3 Thank you.
