12th AF badge in the 1980s

there's several pics of birds in the 80s with the 12AF on the tail, but no pics of the 12 AF badge on intakes or noses

something like this

and yes i know the badge is this as of google search today

im trying to confirm it wasnt different in the early to mid 80s, or that they didnt say just use the triangle protion of the badge. but 5 books, 9 magazines and a dozen hours online  and i cant find a pic of the 12th AF logo on an intake

 any ideas or better still photos? quality doesnt need to be good so long as i can confirm what i got

that would technically be Google won the round

but i did finally get the info from a FB group. so i got that going for me which is good
