VonBeerhofen 63 Posted Friday at 01:48 PM Looks like a v1.28 code group derivative. Perhaps you can find some answers here: https://eaw.neocities.org VBH

VonBeerhofen 63 Posted Friday at 03:10 PM I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this problem, good luck!
MarkEAW 63 Posted Friday at 04:14 PM yeah, I don't recall this issue happening. What version of EAW are you using? and what glide wrapper are you using on which Windows OS? Maybe using the wrong settings in your glide wrapper? I won't know till you respond.
Sase9696 0 Posted Friday at 06:55 PM (edited) Hey MarkEAW soo this pic is from Aces over Europe 2022 edition but also in my european air war game the version is 1.28 version from GOG i also have this issus ! also i am in windows 7 32bit also i really dont very much understand those glide wrapper i just heared you dont need to use them on gog version its true ? Also i installed NGlide 2.10 program Edited Friday at 06:59 PM by Sase9696
MarkEAW 63 Posted Friday at 07:40 PM ugh, geez, ModRed would probably be able to help with the AOE installed standalone game mod, since he added the new 3dz models and textures. But that's version 1.28c, maybe a special version by Jel for that mod. Not sure what's going on, however GOG 1.28 EAW comes with Nglide, maybe an earlier version than 2.10, I think its only a local copy, meaning you don't need to install nGlide to the system. But if you installed nglide AND are using a local copy of it maybe that's interfering with the wrappers normal operation. Uninstall nglide and use 1024x768 res for glide mode on those 1.28 versions. The local copy of nglide should take over if you have things configured correctly. (GOG has a DirectX wrapper too that comes with it. FYI. I use Direct X mode most the time). I'll help you if you need more info.....
Sase9696 0 Posted Friday at 07:48 PM Soo i unistalled nglide and used the res you recommended but still the same !
MarkEAW 63 Posted Friday at 08:01 PM Stick with the 1.28 GOG installation for now, as it will be easier to work with. Are you using a laptop with an integrated GPU or APU, or intel one?
Sase9696 0 Posted Friday at 08:07 PM i am on pc not laptop with Nvidia Geforce Gt 1030 graphic card and yeah i will stick with gog version
MarkEAW 63 Posted Friday at 08:21 PM Well I tried to configure nGlide to get the display results your getting and I can't match it. Is Nglide on your system set to backend rendering DirectX or Vulkan? Try switch to one or the other Set the refresh rate on nglide to match your monitor. Try Vsync on in nglide. Double check you have the glide2 .dll in your game folder....does nglide 3dfx logo appear before you enter the flight screen?
Sase9696 0 Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM i try it what you told me and its the same and yeah i have 3dfx logo appear
MarkEAW 63 Posted yesterday at 03:17 AM It might be the 1030 is too advanced, but it should have worked in directx backend from nglide. I'm not sure what's going on really....sorry. You could try to rest to default your 1030 vid card settings, in it's control panel. I run nvidia here with default settings these days and nglide and dx gog work fine with most the settings. I'm un familiar with win7 32 bit, but it really shouldn't matter much given the game does run on Win7 in either mode. I'm surprised the 32 bit version has 1030 drivers for it.... Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
VonBeerhofen 63 Posted 21 hours ago If no cure, perhaps he should replace the plane models with the stock EAW planes. If only to see if they behave the same. VBH
MarkEAW 63 Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Good point VBH, But I wouldn't even know where to start to replace plane files on a 1.28 EAW GoG version. I would say to just "install v1.2" if you can get your hands on it...I don't know if gog will let you get/Download1.2 without issues since you already got there 1.28. But anyhow it should be working with nGlide, maybe its a win7 32 bit issue with nglide working. I'd hate to confuse the matter, but there is the 'open glide wrapper' which is older than nglide, it may work as it sends the video to OpenGL rather than Vulkan or DirectX. His card/driver should support OpenGL properly, since it newer than the wrapper itself. (GT 1030 is an 2017 (year) graphic card. I was thinking it was something else before.) Sase9696 0 Posted 18 hours ago I Fixed it with OpenGLide_009rc9 !
MarkEAW 63 Posted 13 hours ago Sounds like it was an issue with Win7 32 bit and nGlide 2.10. Maybe report it to Zeus the makers of nGlide? Glad it works.
