The X-Wing: Alliance Upgrade project 2025 update has been released.

Summary of changes:

  • New, more robust install process,
  • Memory Constraint improvements (given it is a 32-bit game, breaking parts into other processes),
  • New Models (Golan I, Asteroid Mining Unit, Bulk Freighter, Modified Corvette, Otana, Quasar Fire-class Carrier),
  • Dynamic Cockpit updates,
  • Enhanced HUD displaying ship info on selected target,
  • Many mission bug fixes/tweaks/improvements,
  • HD medal Ceremony videos + HD medals,
  • Start of new HD video-sequences, for the intro, prologue of battle 1 right now
