  1. Hi KJakker, Thanks for the help but I managed to fix the problem. It was not a problem on the ships but rather on the test mission I built, as I have written in my previous post I modified my .MSN adding a second waypoint and everything worked as it should

  3. @Wrench You're the man!! I found the problem thanks to your mission. Ships need at least two waypoints as per your *.MSN: an INITIAL_POINT one and an ATTACK_OBJECT one. In my test mission I only had one. I went back and tested on both maps, the stock IcelandNA with Navalmap=TRUE and water.bmp and the stock IsraelME which has neither, so it doesn't seem to be related to the NA additions (those are probably used for campaigns). Both of these waypoint commands need to be added manually in the *.MSN since the mission editor will not let you choose objectives for naval units. Now I can see the Jianghu firing even though it can't hit anything with it's crappy Temu knockoff soviet missile clones but that's to be expected...

Hi Wrench, That's the same thing I thought so I added the Navalmap=TRUE statement to the terrain.ini and even added the nation 'China' to the limitednations even though the userlist of the Type053H1 has Egypt in it (that's why it's there in the first place). I even tried with the default IcelandNA map and a Ticonderoga vs the usual Cargoship but the result was the same. Regarding your WW2 missions I had gotten the guns to shoot in one of my tries but not the SSM
  5. Hi Flanker, nice to meet you. I sure do know that they are primarily meant to be bombed, but given the fact that modders have put RGM-84s and the likes in them and given the fact that I saw screenshots of ships firing the things I thought they would work, unless they only work in campaigns...
  6. Hi guys, long time lurker here, first time poster. I'm trying to build a single mission on default IsraelME map with some mods from the site. I can't apparently make the ships fire their ship-to-ship missiles. I tried just about anything I could think of and the best I could achieve was the the attacking ship (a Jianghu) turning 90 degrees off the offending ship (a Cargo ship) and doing nothing. Am I missing something?? Thanks
