Here's my list. I've manually renumbered several of @VonS FMs so the identical plane types are next to each other. Make it easier for me to "load only one".

I think it just does the review where you don't have to click each time something significant happens. I don't know of anyway to try the mission again.

I can see them ok at https://thatoneplease.co/skinsWOFF.html they all have the yellow "UPDATE!" on them. If you don't see it, refresh the page (perhaps it's a browser cache issue).

Lafayette Escadrille Skins?
mandrews_2 replied to WWI Flying Ace's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Ace skins for the Nieuport 17s are rather poorly represented for the Lafayette Esc in relation to their other plane assignments. Excluding the squadron default skins, there are 14 Nieuport 11 skins, 16 Spad VII skins, and only 3 N17 skins (2 for Lufbery and one for Thaw). Sounds like a good research & contribution project. Also, I also see default squadron skins for both the base Nieuport17 and for the Nieuport17_Lewis. I haven't looked to see what the squadron actually gets assigned; but that might explain a bit more of the confusion. -
I stand corrected.

Wow, that didn't take long to get that fixed. Thanks gents.

I've been wanting to get back into some of the WW1 air war board games (I played Richthofen' War a lot in my earlier years) , and I've recently gathered a few more I want to try. Unfortunately, my wife's cats make game play bit of an issue. I have a small collection of Wings of Glory models, joined the kickstarter for Age of Dogfights, and picked up a copy of Knights of the Air. There are also some Print and Play games out there.

It's just that the bands make the scaling obvious (as does Jerbear's image); but it's not just the flat->curve wrapping. If you look at my skin image, there are 6 squares between the fore and aft stripes on the fuselage side and about 5.25 on the fuselage top. BTW, the stripe continuity is fine of the fuselage belly. Anyway, I'm leaving this in the hands of the experts.

While dabbling in some skin editing with the NieuportN24_Bis_Lewis, I discovered the RFC-40 N24 skins have a continuity issues with the stripe painting at the top of the fuselage. This is true even in the NieuportN24_Lewis version of the skins. It seems that the fuselage top portion of the skin is getting scaled (stretched). Here's the skin itself with a size grid laid on it. Looking at the tail stripes in the game, the top stripe is almost twice the width as the side stripe; but this isn't reflected in the skin file. Is this fixable?

I totally agree, it's an excellent series. I only discovered it recently and have made it through The Great War. Now I'm currently going through the "Between 2 Wars" series and then its on to their World War Two week by week.

Instead of having a single default skin for a squadron, allow the squadron to have a generic skin for each squadron member. For example allow the creation of A,B,C,D,... skins for the RFC squadrons so each pilot could have a unique plane. These could be assigned by the pilot's position in the squadron when they join the squadron. Of course, ace skins should be the first choice if it exists.

What? A Rick Rawlings Challenge?

I wonder if the landing gear is giving out. Landing gear damage was added is a feature in the BH&H2. -

@Rick -- I was just looking at this (it's the engineer in me). There isn't much consistency between Weeks and Sorties. I suspect folks are interpreting weeks differently. I was entering challenge weeks, whereas my game weeks would have been 4 (11/11 - 11/30). Not that it matters now. As I said, it's the engineer in me . -

Don't let anyone say this isn't the most realistic WWI sim available. I've already killed off my replacement pilot (collision with EA this time). Time to start a third -- grist for the mill.
