  1. True. I think the S and N were the most widely demanded DLC's. Me neither. Unless he does a major upgrade and a $50 valu-pack again! I doubt it.

  3. Downloaded the (excellent) Op. Darius. I really can't wait to wade into it thru a proper campaign, when I get a spare moment... I've just been sampling the included planes, and i was wondering if anyone else has problems with the F-22 crashing on takeoff? Noticed this when I downloaded the plane itself a while back, and now that I have a campaign in which I may want to fly the Raptor, I feel the need to quash this bug. Anyone working on it or have any ideas? Op. Darius installed in a clean modfolder, BTW.

  5. Well, it wasn't pretty, but the 3 other planes in my flight got on the runway without damage. They came in at just over 100kts and what looked like 30deg, then belly flopped onto the tarmac. No crashes though.
  6. Yeah, it lands like warm butter. (on "hard" flight model settings, of course) Smooth. I touch down at ~175kts. I think the original flaps were way "overpowered". Did you get a different result?

  8. Wow, I appreciate it. It feels pretty good like this. I'll try to make the flaps' effects less exaggerated and have them computer deployed, and I'll post it if I can get it to work ok.

  10. Yeah, me neither. I copied and pasted some stuff from some other planes, and realized I have no idea what I'm doing. I might treat it as AI only for the time being. That F-15E has been calling my name anyway...
  11. Thanks! That's better. It still flies weird though. High angle of attack. Also, I would imagine that the F-22 has computer controlled flaps, like the F-16, EF2000, etc. I might play around with it a bit more.

  13. I started a 1979 Europe campaign with an F-4E. I'm having fun flying it. That's what it's all about. I ain't going nowhere.

  15. Not even! Stary, gerwin and others have updated it quite well. I accidentally loaded my clean SF2 the other day. It was a big shock to see the stock CEurope map. There is no reason to not use Stary's unless you have an old machine, and then FC2 isn't going to work for you anyway.

  18. I like the 50/50. Looks good from 300 ft as well as 30000. Thanks yall.
  19. I had a small problem when importing those. I think some of the MiG-21 pits had "Cabina" written in the .ini instead of "Cockpit". If that doesn't match the other files or vice-versa, it would cause the problem. It should work fine once you match everything up. BTW, once you get the pits working, download comrade's repaints. They are amazing.
  20. Excellent work, Stary! Low-level detail is top-notch. Nice steam vents! :sohappy: @gerwin, I can't wait to try the 50-50 blend. Would that help hide the repeating patterns you see from high altitude?
  21. Good stuff. As someone mentioned, the Hill Scheme is a little off, but I like the wrap-arounds, and the generic grey for all is welcome.
