Borked my Mig-15bis...help please

Just go to your modfolder and erase everything in the MiG-15bis folder, except for the MiG-15bis.INI . That should return it to stock. If you have more than one modfolder, copy it from an untouched one. I keep one modfolder "clean" for just such an occasion. -

Don't think so. Where would that be? Squadrons were copied+pasted from another campaign (with #s changed, of course) where they worked fine. All #s in the .INI and DATA.INI match up, I've checked all the usual suspects, I think. Would the fact that the Israeli squadrons have an ordinance list and my US sqds do not? -

While flying a MiG-29A in a dogfight with an F-4J, I attempted to force him to overshoot by doing a tail-stand at <1000ft off the ground. What I failed to realize is that I was right on top of an unfriendly M163 Vulcan. I found myself sitting still in a storm of tracers, then in a disintegrating MiG, then in the void... :P -

Hey! Don't blame the missile! I like the Mirage5BA alot, and the campaign customizer has been a godsend. Wish I had bought it when it came out instead of 2 weeks ago. Planes I have: HunterF6, A-4G, MirageIII, HunterFG73(75/82), Mirage5BA, F8(FN) and F-8K. Looking forward to more DLC after NA is released. -
Making the elevators effectively larger?

Making a F-16 Blk15, and read that they have larger rear stabilizers than earlier builds. I'm using the stock TW Netz model. What settings would I change to make them larger, flight model-wise only? I just want it to have a slightly different handling characteristic while still feeling very similar to the original. -

Welcome! Probably the easiest way to get into campaign customization is to extract the stock campaigns using the CATextractor and have a look around. It's very simple and you can just change dates and aircraft to your liking. Or just download a usermade campaign and open it up with notepad to have a look around. I recommend my DESERT DUEL campaign, as it is very simple. If you don't have all the planes I use in it, you can just change them in the INI and DATA.INI files. And HERE is the link to the ins and outs of that stuff, from the knowledge base forum. -

This is World War 3 man!!! I ain't got no time for realism! The Coral Sea was in the Med. in October 1985. As for the Oriskany, Get her to the North Atlantic, full speed. I just can't live without mah Crusaders. Love that plane. EDIT: I can always fly that spiffy looking blue F-8E(FN) DLC. The French used it well into the 1980s. -

I can't wait to extract the campaigns and make: A. a 1985 campaign with USS Coral Sea & 1st Hornets (and MiG-29 based in Iceland) B. a 1975 campaign with USS Oriskany & the last Crusaders + USS Enterprise & the first Tomcats I know that these are both very obvious. Getting too far away from the stock 1979 setting will bump into the problem of having incorrect period destroyers and cruisers etc. At least for now... -

After the 1946 elections in Berlin, new war starts between East/West. Using the stock SF2 Europe map, lots of user-made WW2 aircraft and TW planes such as the P-51, Spitfire, and a Vampire FB3 and Meteor F4 (slightly modded Vampire5 and Meteor8). The campaign would basically use the 1956 from the Europe expansion as the framework. Basically, World War III with late World War II equipment. Has anyone made this before? Using Stary's (excellent) new pit, flying against an F-86, I can't lock on unless they're very close. Is there something in the .INI that changes this? I assume it's an issue with the Sabre.
