About linus68

  1. Thanks guy's looks like that worked. Next up getting the ECM bird to actually keep broadcasting, and getting the SEAD F-4's to not dogfight the MIG's after making a single pass against them.
  2. There is a mod that uses the SU-33 FM and pit. VNAO I think. It was also modified for the Crimean Wars. Combined with the english instruments and lights mod to make the instrument panels readable. The problem with the mod is that it uses the SU-33 FM which is gives the F-14 a much better performance than that of the real bird. Also the wings don't sweep and the pit does not look like an F-14. I was able to down load it from www.lockonfiles.com. It's my understanding that they are no longer working on the plane but the VNAO boys are very territorial. So if you want to pick up where they left off give them a shout and ask them about letting you work on it. It may be a lot less work to pick up where their work ended so that you don't have to re-invent the wheel.
  3. Did that. All of the Blue flights start out in the air and are set land at an airfield 200 miles away in the west side of the map. The problem happens when a Blue A/C is damaged or runs low on fuel. Instead of making for the return field or the orbiting tanker that is 75 miles away. It heads nearest field, even if that field is defended by SA-11's and has enemy bmp's on the runway.
  4. I'm new at this and am wondering if there is a way to keep the AI controlled aircraft from landing in hostile airfields. I've set up a the Red force on the east side of the map and I want the Blue AC to land only in the western airfields. Is there a way to designate the airfields as red or blue?
  5. Hello I'm currently working on a series of missions based on Red Storm Rising. The 1st question is. Is there is a way to control which Air to Air Missile the AI planes fire. I'm working on a scenario that require has 2 groups of F-14's. The 1st group has to fly line abreast and fire their AIM-7 wait for the missiles to hit then turn 100deg in AB. As the 1st group is pursued by the surviving MiG the 2nd group has to come up from behind and below the MiG-29's and fire only their AIM-9's. The 2nd question is there a mod corrects the missile load out for the F-14? Right now it's short 2 AIM-7 stations. Station 4 and 9 should be able to carry either AIM-7 or the AIM-54 but currently only mounts the AIM-54. Thanks
