  1. Ok all ive found some great mig-23/27 resources on the net however there is a problem, as the plugins for Max are only for v. 3 or 4, but i have v. 5 and 7... I'd really like a sample pit in .max format to look at when building it to get scale right and all that. Do you know any modders who would perhaps be willing to collaborate?

     

    There are plugins for 5 & 7 ask Capun he can explain it.


  2. The F-16 seems to be the F-16B Blk10 Fighting Falcon by Madjeff. No plane added in multiplay except this one.

     

    Can u give more description about the avionics70.dll?

     

    I'm stumped the aircraft in question is nearly two years old so it would have the avionics 60. Why it is the only one showing up in multiplayer is beyond me. I would suggest you look up StreakEagle about this because he knows the most about multiplayer and he may have an idea of why you are only getting this one add on to show up.


  3. Thanks very much for the quoted words. What I most care about are the fighter addons :)

     

    There're addons of F-15C/D/E and almost all series of F-16 in my WOE Object/Aircraft/ folder. Weapon Pack is installed and I deleted other addons just to avoid problems.

    To test if they work well, I host a co-mission in LAN to enter without any other players except computers. Then I find what's added in types of fighters available is only a F-16 Fighting Falcon and there's no more, however these addons all perform well in SinglePlayer mode.

     

    So if is there anyone successfully have F-15C/D/E and F-16s working in Multiplay, hope I can share the experiences.

     

    The F-16 that you have as an addon wouldn't happen to be the one by xevilpetex would it?

     

    If it is the problem with the rest not showing up may be with the avionics70.dll but i'm only guessing here.


  4. When making different personal variants of models I've noticed that a lot of aircraft have multiple attachment types (shock horror :tongue: ) eg, the recent sweet assed Viggen:

    Now, normally, I've got no problem with editing this. 9 times outta 10 I get it working with no fuss but lately I was trying to equip an IRIAF Tomcat with Purely Soviet weaponry and as a result I can't add anything. All I did was edit the highlighted section above to restrict it to "Soviet" attachments (sometimes increasing the loadlimit to make sure the weapon can be carried) but I've missed something. What is it I'm missing here. I had the same problem attempting to add R-73s to the F-5E. I'm getting the vibe that American and Soviet weapons can't be used on the same aircraft, or maybe the same hard point.

     

    Did you make sure that the weapons in the weapon data are set to be used on those aircraft IE: soviet weapons on american aircraft the weapons would need an attachment type of USN and or USAF?


  5. Working on the cockpit and some weapons now. I'm having trouble getting weapons to show up in the loadout menu.

    When you entered the data into the weapon data ini did you then open the weapon editor find the weapon you created open it and then click ok and then save?


  6. Thanks for sticking with me, but that file does not show up in that folder, only a file called Rolling Thunder. It has the first part of your list, but does not have any of the Supply[xxx] lines in it. Am I supposed to extract it from somewhere?

     

    Using the SFP extraction utility which can be found here http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?automodule=downloads&showfile=343 open your Wings Over Vietnam\ Flight\ MissionData.cat scroll to the bottom and extract the following three files.

     

    WOVCAMPL1.DATA, WOVCAMPL2.DATA, & WOVCAMPRT.DATA once you have extracted them place each one in it's corrosponding folder IE: WOVCAMPL1.DATA = Linebacker I.

     

    Then follow directions above and let me know how everything turns out.

    Adaptation of my F-4B Hi-Res Cockpit to represent an F-4J.

     

    The stock F-4J cockpit is a mix bewteen the F-4B and early F-4J cockpits.

    In reality, the two are very similar except for the radar scope and radar warning receiver.

    So this release is really my F-4B cockpit with those two changes.

    Unfortunately, the 3d model uses the F-4B radar scope shape.

    The F-4J radar scope texture does not wrap onto the F-4B shape very well in some places.

  8. After installing the requirements for Wings over Europe: Operation Final Dawn

    and then the file its self, i get an error message from windows, stating that the MissileObject.dll had caused some kind of error and the program automatically shuts down. Does anyone know what is wrong? I do have the latest weapons pack.

  9. That is exactly what I have. I am thinking this is a really wierd issue. Again, I have no problems in the signle mission mode as I can pick from the entire list of weapons, including the SEA tanks. But when you go to a campaign, there is only 6-7 different weapons instead of the 50+. Also, I tried doing the F-4C campaign and I got the whole weapon list instead of the 6-7 I got in the 105. Any ideas?

     

    Your first mission in campaign will always give you only 6 or 7 weapons after that you will get more.

     

    Open your campaigns/ RT folder then WOVCAMRT_DATA. Scroll down to Player unit the first one will be -->
