  1. It's not that simple. I recommend you try to contact either the guys who did the ADA mod or the guys doing the VNAO mod. They've managed to start changing cockpit textures, but it's a real PITA in LOMAC to do so.
  2. n00b threat posture

    That's possible, Kumar.
  3. n00b threat posture

    It's a group effort!
  4. If you're still having issues, you can click on my squadron forums link beneath my sig. You can find our Ventrilo information there. I'm usually on Vent and I can walk you thru whatever problems you're having.
  5. Your problem is that you're allowing LOMAC to control your joystick commands. Bad call. Install Saitek's SST software and make (or d/l) a profile. Then, go into LOMAC's options menu and choose your joystick. Next to that there is an axis/keyboard "switch". Make sure the switch is on keyboard and remove every single pre-programmed command. Go thru all 4 red buttons (top right) sub-menus and remove the commands. That is the only way that you'll be able to use your joystick without issues. It doesn't matter what stick you're using, it's and issue in LOMAC itself.
  6. File Name: Enhanced Autumn, Winter, Spring Terrain File Submitter: ruggbutt File Submitted: 10 Sep 2008 File Category: LOMAC Object Mods I've created this terrain to supplement the terrain that Grandsurf and Rocky put together called LockOn Reloaded. They created the summer terrain, I've "finished" the project (so to speak) and put together autumn, spring and winter terrain. I was given permission to use some of the textures from Reloaded to modify and include in my terrain pack. I hope ya'll enjoy the fruits of my labor, this terrain represents a couple of weeks of hard work and little sleep. Thanks to the beta testers for all their help. You must install this mod with the newest version of ModMan Q & A for the terrain mod: Q How will this affect my framerates? A If you've run SIMMOD's ReLoaded (summer terrain) it will affect fps the same. All of the terrain files are the same size as the originals. I've upped the size of the trees, which explains why they look better. Q Why does it show a yellow box when I install with ModMan? A Yellow boxes mean that there are shared files in use. It's normal, don't worry. The mod is installed. Q Why isn't it available on LockOnFiles? A It will be soon, Thomas is working on it. Q Do I have to install ReLoaded to use this mod? A No, but I recommend that you do. Additionally, you can install Reloaded or this mod in any order you like, they don't conflict with each other. Q What's next on your list of things to mod for Flaming Cliffs? A I've got all the structures files extracted and I'm going to start work on them. Click here to download this file
  7. File Name: Enhanced Structures for Flaming Cliffs File Submitter: ruggbutt File Submitted: 13 Sep 2008 File Category: LOMAC Object Mods The buildings and ground objects are now sharper, detailed and more realistic looking. You will not take an fps hit with this mod, all files are the same size as the originals. Install using ModMan, the files replace existing files so there is no modification to the graphics.cfg file. When this mod is installed, it will show as "yellow" in ModMan. The file will be available on Lockonfiles as soon as Thomas ok's the upload. CombatAce will have it as well. Thanks for serving!
  10. Sept 11th 2001

I will not be working tomorrow. I haven't worked on 9/11 since it happened. In rememberance.
  11. When did you start modding...

I started in 2001. Our squad was laddering in Ghost Recon and we turned replays on in our server. I made a tool that would catch the retlockers (cheaters) when viewing a replay. Then I moved on to graphic modding cuz I get a headache when it comes to any kind of coding.
  12. You can get ModMan in the Downloads/Utilitaires section of Check Six. I've pinned the link in the General section as well.
  13. Anyone interested in some hi-res autumn terrain? Info here.
  14. It's in testing now, I've completed Winter as well as Spring terrain.
  15. What do you Drive?

I've had this one since High-School. New paint, interior (leather), motor and tranny. My work truck. My old work truck.
  16. My Favorite Song....

    Dos Gringos FTW!
  17. Google Chrome

It's buggy, crashes alot. Crashed more today than FF did in the 4 years I've been using it. I won't be switching any time soon.
  18. Cheers to our UK friends!

Texas, especially the hill country is magnificent. I really like how cordial and polite the people are. It reminds me of how Arizona was when I was growing up.
  19. Great replica controllers

A group of F4/Cougar fanbois over at Frugals started all of it. It was the same group of rude jerks that run off the new guys. Anyway, they offended the owner of the company (who has anger issues) so now he's decided that all simmers are like the group of jaggoffs that ran him off. Neither side was right, but after seeing how the owner of HiRev acted I wouldn't spend a dime with his company. I don't post at Frugal's either.
  20. Great replica controllers

They don't sell to the flight sim enthusiast any more. You should have seen the complete asshattedness from them on Frugal's several years ago. Additionally, their equipment doesn't hold up very well.
  21. The whistles go WHOO!

Wow, what a couple of retards............wooo wooo.............
  22. Happy Birthday Fubar512

    HBD Fubs.
  23. Cockpit Toggle

Hi, I just wanted to see what the ruckus is about. Maybe it's me, but I wouldn't think of telling someone else how to play their game.
  24. You'll need a dedicated video card in that laptop. A couple of our guys have laptops as second computers and even if they're close in specs to their desktops, the lappies don't run LOMAC as well.
  25. I ran it on everything from an 1800 Athlon to my dual core Intel at 3.0ghz. The trick is to have at least a 128mb vid card and 2 gigs of RAM. The older the machine, the less eye candy you can turn on.
