Not a console fan. FPS's blow on console. Flight sims blow on console. I don't play Guitar Hero cuz I played guitar and made a living at it. No reason to buy a console and there's never any reason to buy an X-Box. Evar!!!

Flaming Cliffs runs better than Lock On. The system requirements are the same.

The Su25T and some fixes to make the game more stable. If you like to fly online with others you'll have to upgrade to Flaming Cliffs.

Hopefully they'll get some of the technical aspects of the film correct. When I saw Top Gun in the movie theatre when it was first released and Mav says he's gonna put on the brakes then jams the throttle forward and pulls the stick back I said quite loudly "bulls**t". Top Gun was a great movie but stupid inaccuracies like that as well as reusing the sidewinder shot a dozen times in the movie made a great movie a bit less great.

The reason I clarified the fight in Afghanistan is because I've met tons of people who think we need to be out of the middle east, period. Maybe you guys know a more educated group (ex-military, pro-constitution, etc.) but the masses tend to think of Iraq and A-Stan as the same thing. Yes, they're wrong and I point it out to them every chance I get. I've even had people tell me they don't support the soldiers, because they "joined up just to kill". Usually at that point I walk off cuz it just isn't cool to bitch-slap every retard out there. As an aside but relevant: I listen to Howard Stern, I subscribe to Sirius. Being that they're all New Yorkers (and traditionally liberal) they're all against the war, hate Republicans, etc. Artie Lange and several other Stern staffers went to the warzone to put together a comedy show for the troops. When Artie left he was anti-soldiers in Iraq. When he came back he saw first hand what was going on and he said that even though it's a hard row to hoe, that we should stay and finish the job because the Iraqis aren't "all the way there" when it comes to securing their country. He even said that our media wasn't portraying the facts of what was going on over there. It's nice to see a convert, but it's a shame that he couldn't have created an educated opinion based upon the facts that the media should be giving over here.

Regardless of your political stance on war in the Middle East, the fighting that is going on in Afghanistan is with the same group that took down the towers. Let's not forget that. Iraq gets more press but we're giving back what Al Quaeda gave.

If you are competent on a real guitar, guitar hero is incredibly difficult. I've got mad twitch skills as far as gaming goes and the GH series doesn't emulate what playing the real song is like. What I love about the GH series is that it exposes the younger generation to real music with real guitar players.

We used to go to the midnight movies and watch Dawn of the Dead. I've probably seen it a dozen times in the theater. I have the DVD too.

Could the dialogue be any more cheesy? "We're gonna get annihilated!!" Ghey.

Only one thing can be done prior to criminal negligence charges being filed: KBR should immediately lose it's contract and forfeit any payments it's received. That's a start on how to punish those involved.

30 people weren't killed in one room at VT. The killer roamed for quite a while. As for your post, I was merely stating that you were incorrect. I didn't see it as an attack on the second amendment. As for your slaveowners comment, you do realize that while slavery was still happening that many of our founding fathers knew and hoped that the rest of the country would catch on that slavery never works as well as the alternative. Thomas Jefferson owned slaves but he felt torn about it. Back in those days there was no place for a freed slave to go. All the slaveowners could do was to treat the slaves well. Additionally, I don't believe they could take the future technology into account. But freedom and right to free speech is as important today as it was 200+ years ago. You attack my "irrational" response when it's yours that's hostile. I could care less what your personal beliefs are. But when you make a comment that something along the lines of the VT shooting "couldn't have happened" in the 1800's you better think again. You also need to see what someone moderately trained with a blade can do and stop referring to hollywood movies and the BS they propagate. I'm very well trained in many kinds of combat arts and I guarantee you that a guy with a knife can close the distance to you at 10 feet before you could bring a loaded firearm up to stop him. The guy in close with the blade will win most of the time if he has a clue. I'm NRA certified pistol, rifle, shotgun and personal protection instructor. I was a CCW instructor for Arizona for many years, my lesson plan is still the example DPS gives when new instructors put their lesson plans together. In '95 I was ranked 60th in the world in 3 gun combat matches, my team shot 4th place. I shot semi pro for many years and some of the guys with black powder guns scare the piss out of me. They don't miss and you'd be amazed at how quick they can reload those charcoal burners. Some of you guys think that cuz someone has a gun he's invincible. The dude at arms reach with a gun pointed at you cannot react fast enuf if you know which moves to use to disarm him. They teach that kind of stuff to SAS, Seals, Rangers, etc. I'm not sure what the reason for the large bold text is for. Cheer up emo-kid and grow the f up. That kind of stuff makes you look like a douchebag. This is supposed to be a friendly discussion but you insist on taking things to the next level. You don't wanna go there with me.
