  1. Guess what, I don't know if its magic, but after creating this topic and post, after previous pilot died doing nothing, Vizelflugmeister Max von Shoenebeck came to squadron, during just his 3rd flight along me and other pilot we all attacked BE2c (mostly them), it only took over 130 flights to see something like this, sadly he died, I finished the other BE2c. If I saw this more often, I could start to believe in Fokker Scourge, but 1 out of 130 flights is too rare.
  2. I'm now with over 130 (total) flights, and can't recall them shooting anything. AI aces get shot down instantly by Entente 2 seaters, but we know they have aimbot game braking accuracy than even if the pilot does all sort of acrobatic figures, AI gunner seems not be affected in any way, and will just keep shooting at you, until you're done, 400 meters in cold, shaking cockpit shooting at a moving target? No problem! Bang, bang! +1 Ordinary non ace pilots can't even shoot down (defenseless) Bristol Scout (latest example from yesterday, and so many times before that) 6 Vs 1, I will write this again 6 (six) against 1 (one). Fokker E.1, Fokker E.1, Fokker E.1, Fokker E.1, Fokker E.1, Fokker E.1 against Bristol Scout, still not big force enough, to even the odds. They are so bad, they can't take even take 1 aircraft all together. I'm really getting tired of this. Where is Fokker Scourge? Why do German pilots seem to be not only totally inbred, brain dead, worthless, and I'm out of words to describe this madness. How come there is such a huge disproportion when it comes to AI skills, between two sides? I didn't fly anything beside Germans yet, so I can't comment on the behavior of the other side, but I think I have seen enough in all those flights, to say, something is seriously wrong here, when one side gets so completely dominated, meanwhile history says, that the dominated side was the Entente, hence the Fokker Scourge name, while the Germans in Fokker E.I are falling out of the skies, like someone sprayed them all with some anti fly repellent. I went from September to February/March, 1915-1916, Flanders as this is the most populated region, and as I wrote on the other Forum, I saw a slight improvement from Fokker E.III. Any mods, any setting in the game to edit, so I can improve it, or am I just supposed to fly those couple months, until new airplanes get introduced (and hopefully) Germans start flying as they should have, then forget there is anything like Fokker E.I in WOFF. I won't lie, but for me earliest air combat in WW1 was the biggest reason to get the game.
  3. How do aces work exactly? I have them all selected in workshop, I shoot them sometimes, just for them to die, and then respawn, die again, and fly again, I get it, they are meant to die at the historical date etc., but for example Lanoe George Hawker, when I search in aces tab, and I view his profile has "ace no longer active - last kill made on x". Bio says he should still be flying. I think I got him 3 times. Other aces often have limited info, and intel not available at the moment. When I shoot aces down, does it affect anything? Some I can't even find in the database at all.
  4. Have you found out anything about the medals?
  5. I tried searching through in game files, but found nothing including medals, awards, rewards. In theory, it shouldn't be that hard to make a couple of extra lines of codes, if rank x then reward x, if award x owned then reward x. If rank x then award null, or whatever. 3 awards for lower ranks, everything else for officers, with everything being rewarded only once, then after you were awarded everything there is, you get nothing. WOFFUserFilesBackup which I'm using, lets me edit claims, dossier, logs, and I am doing exactly that after I backup, then restore. If there was a possibility to somehow edit the awards logbook I would just edit things accordinly to how they should have been, myself. I don't see it anywhere unfortunately, there is pilotlog file, but I was unable to open it, and view for it to make any sense, other than random gibberish letters.
  6. I'm Flugmaat in Marine KEK in Flanders. I received my 1st Pour le Merite on 11th kill, then I received the 2nd Pour le Merite on the 15th kill. Tripple bug here, not only my current rank should make most of the in game medals completely unavailable to me, I should not be getting 2nd Pour le Merite. Is there any logic, any built in game system, and requirements that need to be matched for the awards to be earned? At the moment, I see, that rank doesn't matter at all. I still haven't been awarded Eisernes Kreuz I. Klasse, which means there is no precedense in awards either.
  7. Sorry for posting that often, but I learn as I play, and not everything is obvious. When should I claim, when not to, what is taken into consideration for a claim to get accepted, etc. I am using normal difficulty, but I think I will switch to easy, for more comfort, fun, and sanity. I just got my claim rejected, when I was surrounded by members of my flight. I selected a guy 10X meters away from me as a witness, that was below/behind me. This is only just one of a couple examples, and it does frustrate me quite a lot, to have so many kills earned this way, or another, only for them to be rejected, but this example here... is literally a total BS, not to mention it happened close to my airfield, with ground units column below me, plenty of eyes to witness, but nope. I can understand me being far away, being the only one engaging, no witnesses around, I get it, but this one here is just madness. The last nail in the coffin, a feature that I was looking forwards in the game to be using, just mentally exhausting me. Kill - nope, kill - no, kill - what? I only claim what I shoot down, when I am sure it was me, even when alone. I thought that by selecting the nearest flight member, I have a higher chance (if not 100% chance) for the claim to be accepted, because... I though AI can see, but it seems, it does not. I'm just speechless now. Anyone here still dealing with normal, or is easy to go for?
  8. Can the AI logic be changed, so they first of all follow the flight plan, and steadily increase the altitude over time, instead of after starting the flight spiraling in one place building altitude and burning the fuel for no reason? With Fokker E1 I have enough fuel for 150 miles estimated, yet in practice even the 34 miles flight results in AI running out of fuel and crashing. Spiraling often wastes 1/3 of fuel, or more. Regardless of what the height is set for the flight, it shouldn't be expected for the AI to be at it since the start and then follow the flight path. Start the flight, follow the path, then gain attitude. Game should also take it into account, and never make me fly a mission that can't be completed. It shouldn't be generating them. I'm flying on auto for most of the time, turning it off only for the combat. e.g. current patrol enemy front (38 miles total) took 28% of initial 100% fuel load while spiraling, flight actually starts with 72%.
  9. Why is AI, even multiple of them, attacking only me, and why does it feel like everyone is a red baron? I admit I have numerous setting set to realistic, but others are on normal, for balances gameplay. What bothers me, though, is that pretty much every single engagement with the enemy, ends up with all of them ending on my tail, regardless of what I do. Did I miss any setting in the workshop, so AI doesn't prioritize me, and treats me like some low value target that I am? Quite a bad experience when everyone is after me all the time. 1915 Fokker E 1.
  10. Thank you very much for the replies.
  11. I got this game some time ago, today got a joystick, checked if it works, got the expansion... but maybe those are worst of mu purchases I have ever made. Where can I find as the title says, save game, load game, and retry game? I can't imagine there being none, as that would make the game completely worthless and unplayable. Just now I have flown my first mission, died while landing, game over, just like that. That can't be the intended game design. Create a pilot, fly, die, game over, create another one, repeat. Seriously, how do I save the game, load it, and retry the mission, not just die, and be forced to start another campaign.
