Upon further testing it appears the bug seemingly only happens for squadrons based on half the carriers while the other half spawns in just fine in both the Ho Chi Minh and Linebacker III campaigns. The ones that work are the Oriskany,Hancock and Kitty Hawk while Enterprise,Midway and Coral Sea are bugged. I dug through the files with references to each carrier but i have no experience whatsoever in modding so i have no idea what to look for and what might be broken

I didn't install any custom mods for the carrier and i have both Vietnam and NA and all the mods/updates for the expansion. The campaigns included in the expansion itself like Steel Tiger work just fine and spawn you on carriers correctly. Its only the campaigns from the 75 expansion that doesn't have them, I didn't replace any of the files in the mod folder either . The mod page doesn't say anything about files that's mandatory for it to run aside from the expansion,updates and the VPAF addon so i didn't miss anything,at least i think,so i'm a bit stumped

Not quite sure if i installed something wrong but all the navy aircraft that are supposed to be stationed on carriers in the three campaigns included with the 1975 endgame expansion all spawn in the middle of the sea. I suppose it does put me on'solid'ground at least until i get off the ground then the water magically becomes not solid again and i could just end the mission immediately in place of landing on a non-existent carrier but it's really quite immersion breaking. Has anyone else had this issue before or any pointers on how to fix it? Thanks in advance

I saw WoK and TSF2 before yes. I also saw a few mods covering a hypothetical Cuba and Taiwan scenario set in the late 50s/early 60s that have some pretty rarely seen aircraft like the F-84 or the F3H so i'm also planning to get those. Maybe ill move into trying my hand at modding but as of for now this is a pretty amateur hobby of mine that I just spend my bit of free time on but i might be open to expanding further into it when I have the time and resources to one of these days

I'm interested in the entire cold war era general(modern day is a bit too'advanced'foy my taste though)and I do know that there's a mod for Desert Storm,I should probably try that one out first but the late era of gunfighters in the jet age fascinates me a lot. Vietnam gets quite a bit of coverage but i barely ever see any games or popular media depict things like the MiG alley or the many air skirmishes China had with Taiwan/America so being able to fly that often forgotten era of aviation is pretty exciting

Hello and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this,i just recently got into combat flight sims and atm lacking the funds for proper gear to play things like DCS(plus this is only a sorta amateur-ish hobby of mine)so SF2 with mouse control has been a godsend. Are there any recommended must try mods? I'm mainly interested in early cold war era aviation so Korea,Taiwan and anything in that general era. I found a few but the downloads section is massive so I figure I must be missing some. Again sorry if this is the wrong place to ask these sorts of questions or anything and any recommendations are appreciated
